Thursday saw us at Devonshire Sq in London with the England Netball team. It was an exciting and entertaining day of great sport, and had a wonderful and infectious energy that was enjoyed by all. 


Of course, we weren't there just to watch, we were there to work too! And we had the opportunity to show off our skills and the value of our products on the team, by giving makeovers to each squad member present. 


We want to thank England Netball for the continued opportunity to contribute towards their success, and we hope to be working with you again very soon.

Our Autumn Return & the England Netball National AGM, Our First Event

Hello ladies!

We hope you've all had the great summer, (sadly not in weather), we at the beautydome have been enjoying. 

Back in May we held our first beauty playground at The Gardens Hotel on Piccadilly, Manchester. A roaring success, we had the privilege of introducing the women of Manchester to something they didn't know they were missing: the amazing Mary Kay skincare and makeup that makes us look and feel great every single day.

From May to July we continued to build our business brand, travelling repeatedly to Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds, and watching with pride as positive awareness of Mary Kay grew in each location through sharing the benefits of our skincare expertise and performing flattering makeovers on our guests.

After completing our schedule, we made the group decision to spend the rest of the summer interacting on a one-on-one basis with the women we had met at our events all over the North of England. We had the pleasure of introducing several new women to the benefits of joining us as Mary Kay independent beauty consultants, and needed time to work with them and also service the many new customers we gained through our efforts.

A quick, easy, beautiful look

Now, after two months of training new consultants on how to be successful in their businesses, and taking the time to learn about each of our new customers' skincare needs and match them up with the right products for them, we're back, and re-launching our beauty playground efforts as of TODAY!

At this moment we are in Leicestershire, sat in a hall with members of the England Netball team, the England Netball staff, and the wonderful women who play netball every week as part of England's National Netball league. Having supported England Netball this summer with exclusive free gifts and expert beauty advice at regional AGMs, we are here for their biggest night of the year, offering the kind of great service to their guests that we have become known for over the months. 

This evening we've already held several well-attended free skincare classes for interested parties in which we have shown women that know the value of taking care of their bodies, how they can take care of their skin as well. With a stall of our exclusive, cannot be bought in the shops skincare and makeup up and running, we are also on hand to provide AGM-goers with the satisfaction of taking home America's best selling skincare brand instantly upon falling in love with it. And we have also provided each guest, male and female with an amazing free gift and an exclusive and generous discount offer on future purchases.

We are so happy to do our bit to support England Netball and wish all great success in the season ahead!

The Time, Flexibility And Income I Want

It's been a while since we've highlighted a BeautyDome team member, so this week, meet Mary Rose.

Hi, I’m Mary Rose, and before Mary Kay, I was a working mother with two primary aged children, a husband, and a dog. I was Deputy Head of a small Primary school, and out of all these commitments, you can guess that my job got most of my attention.

I joined Mary Kay because I needed time, flexibility and income. A year later, I recognised that I had a choice to make, between progressing my teaching career at the expense of time with my husband, children and dog, or choosing to develop my Mary Kay business, which I had been running at hobby level since joining.

I chose Mary Kay, and in my career as a Senior Sales Director, I have been driving a free car since 1996, and have been in both the Courts of Sales and Recruiting. I received Mary Kay’s highest award, Miss Go Give in 2008, and have won numerous trips to Dallas and a Caribbean cruise that I enjoyed with the husband that before I hardly ever saw. I have also travelled with Mary Kay to Portugal, Rome, Boston, San Diego and Mexico to name a few, and my highest monthly cheque from the company has been in excess of £3,000.

In enjoying all this from my business, I have remained in Mary Kay not only because I find working with women challenging and rewarding, but because it continues to give me the time, flexibility and income that I want. Above all, I now enjoy a life!

Beauty Playgrounds 24th, 25th & 26th June

Wow, it was so good to see so many of you at our three beauty playgrounds in Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool this past weekend. 

Every time we host a beauty playground we are amazed by the enthusiasm there is for quality makeup and skincare amongst the women of your cities. And for women that didn't know about Mary Kay before coming to one of our events, you certainly recognise that quality when you see it!
