And we're back!


Building on the success of our first beauty playground in Manchester on 14th May, the beauty dome team will be returning to the city on 11th June for four hours between 2pm-6pm, offering the opportunity to drop in when it's most convenient for you.


Basing ourselves at The Garden Hotel in the city centre once again, we will be offering the free makeovers, sample products, and expert skincare and makeup advice for which we have become famous.

Our 1st beauty playground in Leeds, 15/05/11

Ladies, 


thank you all so much for attending our Leeds beauty playground on 15th May. Located at The Cosmopolitan Hotel on Lower Briggate for the afternoon, we had great fun doing makeovers and introducing you all to our amazing Mary Kay products.


We are confident that you will love our products as much at home as you did in the beauty playground. But one of the things we pride ourselves on in Mary Kay is customer service, so expect to hear from your new beauty consultants in the coming weeks to check up on how you are doing with your purchases.

It was also great to see so many women interested in what we do and looking to learn more about the Mary Kay business opportunity. We think it's fantastic. What's not to love about getting to work with other women everyday in a business designed to help them present their best face to the world? 


If you'd like to learn more or order something that forgot to on the day, call your new beauty consultant now. They'll be happy to help. Otherwise, we will be in Leeds again very soon.

Our 1st beauty playground in Manchester 14/05/11

We at the BeautyDome would just like to say a big thank you to all the women who attended our first ever beauty playground in Manchester on 14th May and helped make it such a success. We had an amazing time doing what we love to do: introducing new women to our fabulous range of products and amazing business opportunity.

There from 11am-6pm, we had a steady flow of women through the door, who were warmly welcomed into the beauty dome with a free goodie bag and encouraged to examine and try items from our product displays at their leisure.

After trying the miracle-working Satin Hands, which leaves your skin feeling smooth and pampered, they went on the enjoy full makeovers and expert beauty advice. Upon leaving with their new products, each woman was transformed, reflecting the natural or glamourous look they had desired.

Beauty Playground Reminder

Just a quick reminder about our first beauty playgrounds in Manchester and Leeds this weekend. 


We will be at The Gardens Hotel, 55 Piccadilly in Manchester Saturday from 11am-6pm, before moving on to our venue in Leeds, The Cosmopolitan Hotel on Lower Briggate from 12pm-6pm on Sunday. (See our upcoming events page for more details).


Offering you the chance of a completely free makeover, each attendee is welcome to try our products, and also walks away with a goodie bag of samples showcasing the fabulous range of Mary Kay cosmetics we offer.

I have been building my business successfully for 17 years and I am now a Senior Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics. Before starting, I had very bad skin. I had so many sports I could have sold spots! I had tried expensive and cheap skincare products to no avail, and I wore makeup very badly. It consisted of orange foundation and red lipstick – hey, it matched everything! Then my friend and recruiter forced me to try the products, and to my amazement I discovered that my skin was not orange, and I was not destined to have spots forever. In two months they had left me.

I had just finished my degree in Law and Psychology and was planning on studying further to teach Maths. I had large student debt, and I needed to earn some extra money to bolster my full-time earnings as a salon manager.

I only considered becoming a Mary Kay consultant because I was impressed with the products. I had no intention of permanently selling lipstick for a living. I gave myself 6 months as a team leader and then I would leave Mary Kay. I may have been a snob and broke, but I had a degree, and women with degrees do not sell lipstick…or so I thought. Little did I know this was the beginning of my PhD in business, and in life.

Since then, I have won the use of 7 free cars, countless diamond jewellery, and trips to destinations including the Bahamas. What I love the most about this business is that there is no glass ceiling. This is really a business where the sky’s the limit!

Introducing Jennifer 

Welcome to our blog, I’m Jennifer Wilson, a Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. What Mary Kay means to me, is opportunity. I’ve been in the business for eight years, and in that time I’ve enjoying being my own boss, while being recognised spectacularly for the work that I do.

I’ve been to Dallas on the company dime, enjoyed being on stage for the Court of Sales three times, and won numerous rings and jewellery courtesy of Mary Kay. I work the hours I want, when I want, and what I earn depends on how I value myself, not how others value me.

What a change from my previous career as a health care administrator. Long hours and static pay really sucked the life out of me, and it wasn’t until I was introduced to Mary Kay, that I found a profession that matched what I wanted out of life.

we at the BeautyDome are pleased to announce our first ever Beauty Playground in Liverpool! 


On 12th June from 11am-6pm we will be at the Premier Inn on Vernon Street ready and waiting to change your lives with beauty enhancing products and a life enhancing opportunity. 


Not only will we be giving free makeovers to at least the first twenty women through the door, we will also be giving out goodie bags full of products and samplers to every guest, and be available to tell you and your friends about the Mary Kay business opportunity that has rewarded us so richly.
